𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗜𝗧 𝗲𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺.🏁

It is the heart of the company's system. Just as blood congestion can seriously affect a person, a prolonged WAN outage can destroy part of the enterprise, and far from being "dumb," networks today have become intelligent, self-healing, and transport independent.
But we should give the devil his due: It wasn't always this way. The WAN has gone through a revolution and is still going through one. The driving force behind this revolution are 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗳𝘁 𝘁𝗼𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗻𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝘃𝗶𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗳𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆.

If we look at the last 5️ to 🔟 years, the development has taken place in 4 different phases:

1 - 𝗠𝗣𝗟𝗦 networks.
2 - 𝗛𝘆𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗲 networks (a mixture of MPLS and Internet).
3 - 𝗦𝗼𝗳𝘁𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲-defined networks (transport agnostics and traffic engineering).
4 - Intelligent networks and 𝗡𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸-𝗮𝘀-𝗮-𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 (integration of secure access, intent-driven, self-learning (AI)).

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗦𝗗-𝗪𝗔𝗡. This is not to say that MPLS or hybrid networks are not being procured, but to a much lower extent and usually only when there is a valid reason to retain an existing MPLS infrastructure.

Recently, there has been increased interest in SASE, which is one of the intelligent networks. The main reason is the integration of network security and usability. Pay-per-use consumption models are also appearing on the market.

To achieve a successful transformation, you have to deal with a variety of elements and master them all. That's not easy if you don't have the skills and resources to do it.

𝗘𝗭𝗰𝗼𝗻 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝗮 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 that supports customers at every step of the process, starting with the as-is analysis of the existing environment, the development of requirements, the future concept, the creation of a business case and, of course, the procurement and support for the migration to the new solution.
